Nice Clothes

Dialogue · A2–B1

Amy: Wow, you look nice today, Sarah!

Sarah: Thank you! I found the perfect sweater to wear with this skirt.

Amy: And your scarf looks good too.

Sarah: It's my favorite scarf.

Amy: You must be happy that winter is almost over. Can't wait to wear shorts and sandals again, right?

Sarah: Definitely. But we still need our coats and hats for a while longer.

Amy: Did you see Janine's new sunglasses? They're so cool!

Sarah: They look great on her. But I don't think I can pull off those big frames myself.

Amy: Did you notice the fancy blouse Janine wore to the office party last week?

Sarah: That sparkly one? It was fabulous. I didn't have anything like that in my closet at the time.

Amy: You always put together stylish outfits. The black trousers and red shirt with heels you wore to the conference last month looked amazing!

Sarah: Thanks! I'm not sure if it was too formal though.

Amy: Are you kidding me? You looked like a boss! Let's grab some lunch now. My feet hurt in these sneakers.

Sarah: Sure thing. Let's go.
