How to say Time

איך להגיד שעה

שיתה 1

להגיד את השעה באנגלית זה בכלל לא קשה. אתה מתחיל בדקות ו מוסיף אחרי איזה שעה.

חמש דקות אחרי שעה תשע –  five minutes past nine

עשר דקות אחרי שעה תשע – ten minutes past nine

חמשעשרה דקו(רבע)ת אחרי שעה תשע  – fifteen minutes (a quarter) past nine

עשרים דקות אחרי שעה תשע – twenty minutes past nine

עשרים וחמש דקות אחרי שעה תשע –  twenty five minutes past nine

תשע וחצי  – half past nine

לאחר דקה זו מתחילה הספירה לאחור - מספר הדקות עד לשעה הבאה

עשרים וחמש דקות לשעה עשר – twenty five minutes to ten

עשרים דקות לשעה עשר –  twenty minutes to ten

חמשעשרה(רבע) דקות לשעה עשר – fifteen minutes (a quarter) to ten

עשר דקות לשעה עשר – ten minutes to ten

חמש דקות לשעה עשר – five minutes to ten

יש 2 גרסאות: בריטית ואמריקאית.

נתחיל עם הבריטית:

השתמשו במספרים סידוריים, אך אל תשכחו את התווית המיידעת the ואת מילת היחס of:

הראשון בינואר – the first of January   –   the 1-st of January
השני בפברואר– the second of February   –   the 2-nd of February
השלישי במרץ– the third of March   –   the 3-rd of May
העשירי באפריל– the tenth of April   –   the 4-th of April
הארבע עשרה במאי– the fourteenth of May   –   the 14-th of May
השבע עשרה ביוני– the seventeenth of June    –   the 17-th of June
העשרים ביולי- the twentieth of July   -   the 20-th of July
העשרים ואחד באוגוסט– the twenty first of August   –   the 21-st of August
העשרים ושתיים בספטמבר– the twenty second of September   -   the 22-nd of September

שלא כמו בעברית, בהן השנה מקראית במלואה, באנגלית שנים נקראות בשתי ספרות:

1945 – 19 45 nineteen forty five
1987 – 19 87 nineteen eighty seven
1594 – 15 94 fifteen ninety four
1743 – 17 43 seventeen forty three

השנים 2000 עד 2009 - נקראות במלואן, כמו בעברית

2000 – two thousand
2001 – two thousand and one
2002 – two thousand and two

2010 והלאה:
2010 – אפשר כמו בעברית – במלואן– two thousand and ten,  אפשר בקצרה עם שתי ספרות: twenty ten
2015 – two thousand and fifteen או twenty fifteen

כשאנו רוצים לדבר על משהו שקרה בשנה מסוימת, נשתמש במילת היחס in:
