A Letter to Teachers
Dear сolleagues,
Thank you for visiting our site.
This is a meeting point for everyone who takes the English language as a job, a hobby, a subject to learn, a fun.
There can be some imperfections as the site is still being designed. We are still in the process of making it better.
Before you start using the site, please, consider the information below.
We had two main ideas in mind when we started the whole project - to select and prepare proper free materials to let learners work independently and to save teachers their time and energy and let them have more tools to teach and share with colleagues, parents, and learners. As well you can create, add, edit lesson plans, worksheets, online and printed games and other practice activities - all in one place. There is also a self-development and motivation section - in case you want to listen to or be in touch with colleagues from different countries, to study or just to watch the best films about teachers.
Lesson plans and materials contain everything that a teacher might need for fruitful work - plans, handouts, collection of worksheets, PowerPoint presentations, video activities. Pay attention to the links to the learners' pages with detailed explanations, examples, games, songs, karaoke, online games, and exercises (with answers of course) for practice. Their materials are easy to use both for group and individual work in class as well as for homework.
We kindly remind - the content of the site is not a study book - it is rather a virtual library of useful materials for teachers and learners. The materials are therefore put in order according to the language skills and activities and not according to the Years/Grades of learning.
All the content in the categories is put in order according to the difficulty of grammar level and to the level of words. We are sure you will find these marks helpful.
We are full time teachers – at the university and in high school and there are two of us working daily on the site (with the wise support of the TechComLab programmers).
We have been selecting, preparing and using the material for quite a number of years and we see that it works. Moreover, our students enjoy this kind of work. That inspires us to offer you this opportunity to incorporate the site into your work and make your lives at least a little bit easier, and more enjoyable and successful.
P.S. We would love to add that we are ready to answer your questions. Please let us know how it works with the site, please send us your comments and ideas.
P.P.S. We would like to emphasize that our website is still in the process of continuous development and refinement. While we strive to provide the highest quality content, you may occasionally encounter errors or inaccuracies, for which we sincerely apologize in advance. Nevertheless, we warmly welcome your feedback, including reports of any issues, suggestions, or recommendations for improvement. Your collaboration will greatly assist us in enhancing the accuracy and usability of our platform for everyone. Thank you for your patience, support, and trust in our efforts!
Thank you again for visiting us! We do hope you will not waste your time here.
Yours,
teachers of English
Anna and Alexander
